Coniferous trees grow mainly in the upper afforestation zone of our country.
Trees of the first magnitude, their height reaching 60 to 70 m. The wood is
characterized by the secretion of resin. As compared with the deciduous wood
it is softer, more porous and lighter. Owing to the smaller prime cost of the
articles of this kind of wood, it is also widely used in the furniture production
and as flooring.
