beech-tree solid parquet and parquet of the wooden floor type

Ordinary beech-tree /Fagus silvatica L./
At a height ordinary beech-tree reaches up to 30 or 40 m and high up in the mountains it may also acquire bush-like dimensions. The ordinary beech-tree is widespread in almost all the mountains in our country. It is exigent to the conditions it grows in. It is intensely shade enduring and slow growing, in particular when young in age. Its longevity under favorable conditions is about 300 years. Hard wood of quality – 720 kg/m3, which owing to its nature undergoes through primary treatment – steaming.

Oriental Beech-Tree /Fagus oriantalis Lipsky/
In height it reaches up to 40 m. Its species is most widely encountered in Strandzha and partially in Eastern Rhodopes. It climbs up to 700 – 800 m above sea level. It grows in rich and moist soils. The wood is with the same technological characteristics as ordinary beech-tree.
