White acacia /common locust/ (Robinia pseudoacacia L.)
A tree with a height of up to 25 m. The eastern states of the USA are the native land of the white acacia, where it grows up on fat and moist land. It is intensely photophilous and well withstands city conditions. In our country it is mainly widespread in mixed plantations in the lower afforestation zone. It is widely used throughout the country, having good conditions for growth up to about 1 000 m above sea level.
Solid, heavy, resilient wood.
